Mia Nygren

Mia is currently the Managing Director for Spotify Latin America, a role she has held since 2013 when Spotify launched across Latin America. The fast-growing market today accounts for over 20% of Spotify’s global monthly active users. She joined Spotify in 2011 as Business Development Director in Europe to focus on Spotify business partnerships with labels. Prior to her joining Spotify she was at Universal Music, having joined the group in Spain in 2003 from Mobile Hits, a company that sold music content for mobile phones, that she founded. She began her career as a market research consultant for Nordic internet companies.
